The Disability Channel, a digital television station showcasing abilities” internationally on HD Digital Roku TV, additional local/National television networks across Canada and the USA, are pleased to announce the launching of an exciting new employment initiative called “The Ability Ambassador Program”.

With the support of various social service agencies and sponsors, the “Ability Ambassador Program “will offer mentors from the disability community to speak to groups of all ages and demographics, from schools to corporations, about their experiences as a person with a disability and we hope in the process to educate and empower the broader community regarding issues of disability and inclusion. After successfully completing the necessary training, candidates will be paid a stipend to represent the “Disability Channel “at events, conferences and fundraising initiatives.

We are looking for potential ambassadors that are 17 years of age or older and have a disability of any kind that would be interested in becoming involved as an “Ability Ambassador” for the channel.

If you or someone you know would be interested in getting involved as an Ability Ambassador contact Stephanie R. Saberan at the number below.
